Enriching the lives of individuals and families is what we do at BID. Because children are our future, we prepare them for success with social skills training, one-on-one mentoring, and more. While we focus on children, we want all members of the community to benefit from our services. Reach out to us for more information.
We believe that organized recreational activities are essential parts of community building. Our nonprofit group puts together local events and outings to help individuals develop social and emotional skills.
BID knows that mentoring is one of the best ways to encourage children. As such, we offer counseling sessions and one-on-ones with trained staff.
Emotional issues can sometimes impede a child's advance. Our Licensed Professional Counselor will work to find the source of what is troubling the child emotionally and find the best way to help the child work past these emotional traumas.
Some students find it difficult to move from grade school to high school or high school to college or the workforce. Our counselor and other trained staff use methods to help each child comfortably transition to their next destination.
